What do you think of when it comes to ping pong and the outfits the players wear?

Headbands?

Short shorts/skirts?

Knee high socks?

Polo or a really tight shirt?

Depending on whether you are playing professionally or just for fun can change what you must wear!

The biggest advise this ping pong enthusiast can give is to wear something comfortable! Many do not know about physically calling ping pong can be until they try to play in a long sleeve t-shirt and jeans with cowboy boots.

What does the USATT rules say about dress attire?

Here are some of the biggest rules you MUST follow to not be disqualified!

1. Your clothing must be a different color than that of the ball in use (obviously you want your opponent to see the ball when it comes towards them)

2. Your clothing cannot have excessive use of reflection items (probably to not blind the opponent, which makes sense)

3. You and your opponent must wear obviously different styles of clothing to make it obvious to the spectators that you both are different (this one is weird because couldn't the spectators know your not on the same team by the opposite sides of the table)

4. If you are playing doubles, you and your partner must be matching (I mean this makes sense, you and your partner are a team and must act as one)

What do you enjoy wearing while playing ping pong? Whatever it is, you better work it.

xoxo
